The SkillEd Process

  • Identify

    Students will complete an entrance survey to identify their interests and potential trade. The survey will generate suggestions for each student and begin their path to a SkillEd trades.

  • Mentorship

    Our SkillEd mentors assist in helping our students apply for potential housing, scholarships and applying to the right trade school. SkillEd mentors will also help students transfer from a traditional 4 year university with a goal to create a fail proof environment.

  • Exposure

    Students will have the opportunity to experience a the day in the life of a tradesperson in their field of interest and visit various trade schools to assist in their decision making process. This is better known as ‘industry exposure’.

  • Placement

    Upon graduating from trade school, your SkillEd mentor will assist you in resume building, job placement, and salary negotiations. Completing each students journey as a participant in the SkillEd program.
